Common questions
How loud is it?
Whisper-quiet — from 24 dB on low and under 35 dB on its normal night setting. Quiet enough to sleep beside, independently confirmed by HouseFresh.
What do replacement filters cost?
Standard filter media, available in our shop, changed every 6–12 months depending on use. No locked-in proprietary cartridges.
How much does it cost to run?
Very little — Luggables draw 6–16 W, about €10–€27 a year running 16 h a day (EU average €0.29/kWh).
What room size does it cover?
Clears a 30 m² room in about 15 minutes (Intertek-certified CADR). Ideal for bedrooms, living rooms, nurseries and home offices.
Does it remove viruses and allergens?
Yes — MERV-13 media captures fine particles down to 0.3 microns, comparable to HEPA, including pollen, dust, pet dander, mould spores, smoke and airborne viruses.
Fresh EPA H11 media — swap in, breathe easy.
Replacement EPA H11 filters for your Exhalaron, each with an activated-carbon layer to tackle odours and VOCs.
Add yours above — keep your Exhalaron at full strength.
Why it matters
EPA H11 captures particles down to 0.3µm on first pass
MERV15-like performance with higher airflow and CADR than standard H13 HEPA
Built-in activated-carbon layer handles odours and VOCs
Choose 6" or 6.5" — measure your existing filter height first
Which size do I need? Most Exhalarons shipped with 6" filters, but some received 6.5". Measure your existing filter height before ordering, or check your original delivery note.
Filter lifespan: approximately 6 months depending on usage and air quality.
Indoor air can be up to 5× more polluted than outside — traffic particles, pollen, dust and smoke build up where you sleep. The Luggable clears a room in minutes, then runs all night at a whisper.
