Luggable XL Ultra is the quietest, lightest, most compact and cost-effective way to protect 10 people to 40cfm/per level in medium-large rooms like classrooms and open kitchen/family rooms.

For the XL Ultra, Coolermaster provided us a special Black Edition of their industry-leading Mobius 120P 2400rpm fan. Seven of these Mobius 120P are thus able to replace and outperform the 9 SickleFlow of our former XXL 25x25" model with same noise level! Plus the Mobius loop-dynamic bearing is rated at 210,000 hours or 22 years MTTF (mean-time-to-failure) vs 18 years MTTF for the SickleFlow.

Intertek tested our XL Ultra to achieve an unprecedented 24 Smoke CADR per Watt, more than double the energy efficiency of all large HEPA purifiers in the EnergyStar database!

XL Ultra is well-oriented: the main 5-fan bank can blows up and the 2-fan bank sideways, with one side against a wall. Finally, it really is luggable -- weighing only 8 lbs!  Luggable XL Ultra comes with a side handle installed.

The optional hex mesh filter guard protects from prying little hands and claws. They also strengthen the box considerably.  We recommend them if the box will be moved around a lot or placed in high traffic areas like classrooms or restaurants.

Luggables use 3M Filtrete brand American-style MERV13-14 furnace filter media.  Filtrete MPR1500-2500 work well with our PC fans and are suitable for capturing smoke, dust, pollen, mold, allergen, bacteria and viruses.
